The essential idea

Quick Take

David Nieves emphasizes the importance of mindset and values in recruiting for Vital Health. He stresses that inviting others is about offering possibilities, not making promises or begging. Key mindsets include conviction in the product and business, curiosity about others' needs, honesty about what is offered, respect for decisions, and ownership of one's outreach efforts. He advocates for a servant leadership approach: understanding what prospects want and connecting the business opportunity to their personal goals. Invitations should be simple, sincere, and focused on earning the right to share more, often through third-party presentations or calls. David shares practical scripts for different scenarios, such as reconnecting with old contacts, seeking opinions from respected individuals, or approaching experienced businesspeople. David also highlights the importance of detaching from outcomes and focusing on the process of inviting and sowing seeds. He encourages persistence, note-taking on prospects' lives, and building genuine relationships before inviting. Finally, he strongly promotes attending Vital Fest as a way to build conviction, gain knowledge, and energize one's business efforts, offering a personal guarantee on the event's value.

0:00 Happy Monday

0:02 and I hope everyone's doing fabulous on

0:05 this wonderful Monday, October the 5th.

0:09 I'm going to start telling everyone the

0:10 day and the date. Um, and that's mainly

0:14 for my own well-being so that I know

0:17 what day it is. Um, that means though

0:19 it's October 5th. You know what that

0:21 means? That means we are 11 days away

0:24 from Vital Fest, which is pretty

0:26 exciting. So, let's go ahead and do some

0:28 quick announcements for that. Let me get

0:32 this started for you.

0:36 All right.

0:40 So, if you were with us this weekend

0:43 with Vital Women and then we launched

0:45 the beauty shot, I have it right here by

0:47 my feet. It's this wonderful little box

0:51 and it's full of amazing products that I

0:53 just dumped all over my kitchen floor.

0:55 But, oh, it's there you go. Now you can

0:57 see it. It's so awesome. Um, the Tumblr

1:00 is so stinking cute. So, this is on

1:04 sale. It's available um until the end of

1:06 the month. So, this is great. And it is

1:08 both for customers and affiliates,

1:10 right? So, that is for both people. And

1:13 also, the overview that um Miss Heidi

1:15 was working on is going to be up here in

1:17 just a minute. We were editing it this

1:19 morning. So, that will be available as

1:20 well as the actual call from this

1:22 weekend. So, if you're looking for those

1:24 replays, they will be available later

1:26 this afternoon. All right, next. This is

1:30 pretty cool. We launched this this

1:31 weekend also. So, this does not involve

1:34 a welcome pack. This is just all on its

1:36 own, right? Like happy October. Welcome

1:38 to fall. Fall in love with vital health

1:40 for $5, right? That's what this is. So,

1:43 membership price with the code sense as

1:46 in vital sense, right? For only $5,

1:48 right? So, that's until the 15th. So,

1:50 you don't have that the whole time. That

1:52 is this lasts until the day before

1:54 Vitalfest. So you only have that until

1:57 Vinylfest.

1:58 And this is Vital Fest, right? So this

2:00 is exciting. Over the weekend, we had

2:02 some pretty heavy hitters hit our lineup

2:04 that we weren't 100% sure were going to

2:06 be able to make it. But that's right,

2:08 we've got Alex and Dr. Tony, as well as

2:10 both the Beretta brothers coming as

2:12 well. So in the two weeks you can come

2:14 hang out with all the founders as well

2:16 as the neases, the stallards, my my twin

2:19 Keith, you got Anna Canara coming and

2:22 we're going to be start launching like

2:23 all these different speaker images to

2:25 let you know who they are, why you

2:28 should be listening to them, and all the

2:30 amazing stuff that they're going to be

2:31 bringing. So this is going to be really

2:33 exciting. So, on Saturday night, we're

2:35 not having anything as a corporate team

2:38 after the event, but we want all of your

2:40 teams to get together and bond while

2:42 you're together. I know um uh House of

2:45 Vital, if you will, and I know that a

2:47 lot of those ladies and over on that

2:48 side, they're having a big 80s party.

2:50 So, it's going to be really fun. Get

2:52 your teams together and be able to do

2:54 something um all together. And it

2:57 doesn't have to be just your team,

2:58 right? You can you can bond across

3:00 teams. But I digress. It's Monday. Let's

3:05 get into this. This is

3:08 script week for recruiting. That's

3:10 right. So, this is a really cool week.

3:12 This is going to be full of amazing

3:15 tools from different people that all

3:16 have done recruiting in different ways

3:18 so that everyone has a chance to learn

3:20 from a different perspective. So, this

3:22 is a great week for you guys to be on

3:24 this. So, I'm going to turn this over to

3:27 Black Diamond extraordinaire, my brother

3:29 from another mother, Mr. David Neves.

3:31 Take this away, sir.

3:36 Hello. Hello everybody.

3:38 Just a second. I am popping up in my

3:41 computer right now. But I'm super

3:43 excited to be here and uh and thank you

3:46 for that Ariel. What an what an

3:48 incredible news right everybody to have

3:51 now Dr. Tony Rodriguez, Alex Renoso,

3:55 Anna Cana. I mean I mean it doesn't get

3:59 any better. I mean we are it's called

4:01 winning in my perspective. Uh we are we

4:05 are blessed and we are winning. So give

4:08 me a second. You see you're going to

4:09 hear Roomie. Everybody knows my room,

4:11 right? Room is my Chihuahua. The joy of

4:14 my life and he is uh he's awake.

4:19 >> He's a sweet puppy. He's just very set

4:22 in his ways.

4:24 >> He sure is. And we love him for it

4:26 because he is, you know, he is who he

4:29 is.

4:40 >> Can you unmute my second account that I

4:42 just

4:53 There we go.

4:55 Okay, that'll help. All right,

4:57 everybody. And super excited to be here,

4:59 every single one of you, and to talk

5:00 about uh one of the most important

5:02 topics that we can talk about, which is

5:06 inviting someone to take a look at your

5:08 opportunity. I mean, I think that's what

5:10 we do. Uh we invite other individuals to

5:13 take a look at what we're doing. Uh and

5:16 essentially, uh with the hopes that of

5:19 course they they join our business, they

5:21 join the team. And uh not only that,

5:23 they they work the business, right?

5:25 That's uh that's also pretty important,

5:27 [laughter] not just to join the

5:28 business. Uh so um so let's look we're

5:32 going to break this down into several

5:35 ways because I've uh after many many

5:38 years of doing this and inviting

5:40 thousands upon thousands upon thousands

5:42 of people to take a look at my business.

5:45 Um I can tell you that there's there's

5:48 there's things that you can do to

5:51 increase the odds in your favor and

5:54 presenting the business. I I can let's

5:56 let's let's dive into that right now. If

5:58 you're brand new, my favorite [snorts]

5:59 way to present the business is to use a

6:01 tool to use something that is not me or

6:04 a presentation that's recorded [snorts]

6:06 or invite them into a third-party tool.

6:09 Either a presentation, a 8minute video.

6:11 That's that's what we're going to do.

6:13 But to get them there, that's what we're

6:15 going to talk about right now at this

6:17 very moment. And I want to share with

6:18 you that the first thing is the mindset

6:20 of how of inviting of inviting someone

6:22 individual. And I tell you, I [snorts] I

6:24 heard once that perspective drives

6:26 performance. You ever heard that before?

6:28 Perspective drives performance. How you

6:30 see things is how you're going to

6:33 perform. So you before you can improve

6:35 your invitation, you have to understand

6:38 that we need to examine how you're

6:40 inviting. We need to examine that. We

6:42 need to examine that your your mindset

6:45 and what you're inviting. You see

6:47 because if you recruit simply by begging

6:50 or something apologetic uh what ends up

6:53 happening people see that is like they

6:55 see it they can they can sense that

6:57 energy can sense that what you are

6:59 approaching him by and if uh and it does

7:02 and or if you're maybe inviting them

7:04 with the with the hopes of earning a

7:06 commission uh now the invitation looks

7:09 transactional

7:11 so you got to look at these type of

7:13 perspectives and you got to look at

7:15 asking yourself am introducing an option

7:17 to someone that can so they can evaluate

7:20 the business and and see if this matches

7:23 their goals. That's that's the first

7:25 thing. And so the first thing is a

7:27 recruiter's mindset. And my job is not

7:30 to convince people. My job is simply to

7:33 open the door and but I cannot make no

7:36 one walk through it. Does that make

7:38 sense? I can only sew seeds. That's it.

7:42 I am sewing seeds and I'm hoping that it

7:45 falls on good ground. And when it falls

7:47 in good ground, I mean it could I mean

7:49 what what can happen is is it's is

7:51 magical. It really uh it one of my

7:54 favorite stories is a story of the sewer

7:55 by Jim Ran. Anybody anybody has seen Jim

7:58 Ran before? [snorts] If you have not

7:59 heard of Jim Ran, building my network

8:02 marketing business by Jim Ran, your

8:04 assignment after this call is to go on

8:07 YouTube and you're going to put Jim Ran

8:09 Building My Network Marketing Business.

8:11 I'm sure someone's going to post put the

8:13 put the link in the chat in just a

8:14 moment. Uh but gym room building my

8:17 network marketing business uh will be uh

8:20 the thing that you're going to do

8:22 immediately

8:23 after you get after you get out of this

8:25 call. That's going to be number one.

8:26 Okay. So let's talk about because we're

8:28 sewing seeds. Okay. And the mindsets

8:31 here. Number one, the mindset is

8:32 conviction. Uh conviction say I

8:34 understand what I'm offering and I and I

8:38 personally value it. In other words, you

8:40 believe in what you have. Let me ask you

8:42 a question. Do you believe in vital

8:44 health? Do you believe that our products

8:46 can impact other people's lives? Do you

8:48 believe that even if the business you

8:50 still haven't maybe earn a significant

8:52 amount of money, do you believe that you

8:55 can you can earn in significant amount

8:57 of money? Do you believe that? Do you

9:00 believe that you can win within vital

9:01 health? That's let me ask you that has

9:04 to happen. Your conviction here has to

9:07 rise. this one big step in increasing

9:11 your conviction and belief. You know

9:13 what's going to be is vital fest. Vital

9:16 fest is going to inject you with 100%

9:19 conviction. 100% belief. You're going to

9:22 come out of there with the conviction

9:24 and belief for you to go out there and

9:27 invite people with the right type of

9:29 mindset. Number two is curiosity. You

9:31 got to learn to invite with curiosity.

9:34 That means I I I learn what someone

9:37 wants before I invite them. That's the

9:39 second thing too. Meaning that I'm

9:42 curious of what what other people what

9:43 are their needs. What are I'm curious

9:46 about other people's needs. And one of

9:48 the things that I that I used to invite

9:50 I I want to find out what is what is

9:53 going on in your life and how can vital

9:55 health assist you. We're going to cover

9:57 this in just a moment. Next next the

10:00 next level of mindset is honesty.

10:03 Meaning I offer I'm offering

10:05 possibilities. I'm not promising

10:07 anything. I'm not promising results. I'm

10:10 not promising income. I am giving you

10:12 possibilities. Vital health is

10:14 possibilities. That's all this is. This

10:16 is possibilities. And how many of us

10:18 want more possibilities in our lives?

10:20 Can I can I ask you that? Do you want

10:22 more possibilities in your life? You

10:24 know, if you live in North Korea, you

10:27 have little possibilities in your life.

10:30 you live in the United States, a lot of

10:32 possibilities in your in your life,

10:33 right? So, we want more possibilities.

10:36 So, honesty, what I'm telling you is

10:38 we're this is what we do. And honestly,

10:40 we're not I'm not I'm not promising

10:42 you're going to get rich. I'm not

10:43 promising you that you're going to heal

10:45 your cancer. I'm not promising none of

10:46 that. I am vital health is

10:48 possibilities. It represents

10:50 possibilities for your life. Next is

10:52 respect. The mindset is respect. What I

10:54 mean by this is that you got to respect

10:56 people's decisions. It's not. This is

10:59 not for everybody. We need plumbers. We

11:02 need real estate agents. We need doctors

11:04 in the operation room. We need people to

11:06 take out our garbage. We need those

11:08 people. If everybody was doing vital

11:09 health, who's going to go do all that

11:11 stuff? You know, we we need those. So,

11:14 you [snorts] got to respect people's

11:15 opinions and you got to respect people's

11:17 where they're at in their lives. And

11:19 then no now doesn't mean no later. It

11:22 just means no right now. And right now

11:24 in my life I I' I've sponsored so many

11:26 people that uh in the beginning they

11:28 told me no a year two years later they

11:30 situation in their lives changed and

11:32 they got starting in my business and

11:34 they they went out to go out there and

11:35 have built a huge business under my

11:37 organization. And [snorts] last I

11:39 ownership that's the mindset the mind

11:41 mindset is ownership meaning I control

11:43 my outreach. I control how many people

11:45 going to reach out a day. You are in

11:47 full control of how many people are

11:49 going to reach out your house. How much

11:51 do you work your business? You're in

11:52 full control of this. No one is in

11:55 control of that but you. Uh [snorts] so

11:58 following up, you're in control of

12:00 listening to other people. You're in

12:01 control of how many invitations you're

12:03 doing. You're in control of. This is the

12:06 mindset. Now, next thing that I want you

12:09 to look at, and we're going to look at,

12:10 by the way, I'm going to give you my

12:11 notes after this. So, if you if you

12:14 [snorts] if you're taking notes, I love

12:15 people taking notes. You can you can but

12:17 if you want to stay with me, I'm going

12:19 to give you all my notes right now as

12:21 well after this and we can put it we'll

12:23 put it in the uh in the in the in the

12:26 chat uh for for everybody or we'll put

12:28 it in the um what's it called

12:30 [sighs and gasps]

12:31 in the Facebook uh group. We'll put them

12:34 in the Facebook group. Anybody's part of

12:36 the Facebook group? Uh right, we'll put

12:38 it in the AM Facebook group. If you're

12:40 not part of the Facebook group, join the

12:42 Facebook group. I mean it's it's free to

12:44 join. And so I I'll share with you the

12:46 notes on inside the Facebook group.

12:48 Immediately after this within five

12:50 minutes you'll have go to the Facebook

12:52 group and you'll see posted uh the the

12:55 my notes for for today. Okay. [snorts]

12:57 So because I'm going to be talking about

12:59 scripts as well. I want you to have the

13:00 scripts. So I want to ask you a

13:03 question. Okay. Let's talk about values

13:05 now because values do matter. And the

13:07 question that I want to ask you is how

13:09 are you giving vital health away? That's

13:11 a good question isn't it? How am I

13:13 giving vital health away? Are are you

13:16 again looking at this as possibilities

13:18 for other people or are you looking at

13:20 this in a way that maybe I uh I don't

13:22 know if if this is for this is something

13:24 for them. Are you look are you doing

13:26 this with with a with a serving heart or

13:30 are you doing this with fear? You need

13:33 you see I I I I I like I like the idea

13:38 of having values in my life the a

13:42 guiding post and a serving heart is part

13:46 of vital health's values of how you give

13:49 this business away. So you can you

13:53 service also means you connect the

13:56 invitation to something that a person

13:59 actually wants. I I don't know. I want

14:02 to know if I'm if I'm serving someone.

14:04 I'm serving you in a way to understand

14:08 I'm serving you in a way to understand

14:11 what's missing in your life and how

14:14 vital health can help you meet that gap.

14:17 That service is serving you. I mean, so

14:22 keep keep that in mind. Integrity is

14:24 number two. The next the next thing the

14:26 values I'm doing this with integrity.

14:28 Honestly, I don't I don't over inflate

14:31 in inflate numbers. I don't hide

14:33 requirements. I don't I don't I don't

14:35 lie, guys. Always tell the truth. The

14:38 truth uh is the the best way to go about

14:41 right when it comes to this business.

14:43 The next the next is uh is is again ask

14:47 permission and respect people. Ask

14:49 permission and accept the answers. Okay.

14:51 Next is courage. Uh the courage to

14:53 invite clearly to someone, right? Not

14:55 apologizing in conversation. And last of

14:57 course responsibility. Uh so let's let's

15:00 let's talk about let's talk about now

15:03 inviting. Okay. Um and inviting number

15:07 one I want to understand their

15:08 motivations. I like to understand

15:10 people's motivation and and I remember

15:12 I'll tell you [snorts] a story and I've

15:14 used this so many times. I use it on my

15:16 neighbor Sandy. I I once used it on a

15:18 lady called Maria. Uh Maria has two

15:21 jobs, has multiple children and she

15:24 works all the time. She what do you

15:27 think a mom mothers let me ask you a

15:29 question if you have two jobs you're a

15:31 single mom and multiple kids what is

15:33 your need what do you want in your life

15:36 can anybody tell me that what do you

15:37 think Maria wants in her life anybody

15:40 can anybody help me with this think

15:42 about this what does Maria want time

15:46 freedom Deborah says that's great time

15:49 freedom what else what do you think what

15:51 else you think Maria wants for her life

15:54 what do you

15:56 Maria has two children.

15:58 Time with her kids. Times with her kids.

16:02 M Maria wanted times with her kids. She

16:06 wanted time freedom to have time with

16:08 kids. So when I when I know that and you

16:12 know that, how are you going to invite?

16:14 Are you gonna talk about the opportunity

16:16 of seven

16:18 50% check matching and a car bonus and

16:20 incredible products or are you gonna

16:22 talk about Maria's kids and having more

16:24 time with her? Does that make sense? So

16:28 I when I when I call Maria, I was very

16:31 after I caught up with Maria, how are

16:32 you? How's it going? What's happening in

16:34 your life? I say, hey, listen, Maria, if

16:37 I can let me ask you a question. If I

16:38 can show you a way to make more money

16:40 and spend more time with your kids, is

16:42 that worth 20 minutes of your time? What

16:45 do you think Maria told me?

16:48 Of course, that's worth 20 minutes of my

16:50 time. What do you got? And I'm like,

16:53 okay. I sit down. You see, you see

16:57 here's here's the thing. You I I I

17:00 didn't I I did not talk about the

17:03 business. I just talk about what Maria

17:05 wanted to accomplish in her life.

17:08 This this is this is part of the art of

17:10 inviting too serving other people and

17:13 understand that you can go through this

17:15 just just again this is service. So what

17:17 is happening here in my invitation is I

17:20 already knew what Maria wanted so I knew

17:22 her motivation. If you don't know

17:23 someone's motivation what are you going

17:24 to do? You're going to ask, aren't you?

17:26 You're going to ask questions. If I'm if

17:28 I'm talking to Z and I'm talking to Chef

17:31 C the first time we talk on on the

17:32 phone, I'm I'm going to be like, "Hey,

17:34 Chef, what what do you what what is it

17:36 that you're looking for right now in

17:38 your life that you don't have? What is

17:40 it that you you would like to accomplish

17:42 in your life that you at this stage of

17:44 your life after so much success after so

17:47 much accomplishment, you know, doing

17:49 working with celebrities? What is it?

17:51 What's next for you? What do you want to

17:53 accomplish in your life next? And what's

17:55 keeping you from doing that?

17:58 What are those? What what if you ask

17:59 somebody that question? And then after

18:03 she says that, she tells me what it is.

18:05 I I can I can just say, "Hey, what if

18:07 there was a way that I can help you get

18:09 there faster? Is that worth 20 minutes

18:11 of your time for us to talk about a

18:13 business project, an [snorts]

18:14 international business project expanding

18:16 here in the US?" Does that make sense?

18:18 How how the invitation

18:21 you see when I when I'm inviting, I want

18:23 to invite in terms of what the other

18:25 person wants. And when you do that,

18:29 people don't say no to that. The reason

18:30 they don't say no to that is because

18:32 when they if they're saying no to you,

18:35 they're saying no to what they want. And

18:37 do and do people want to say no to what

18:40 they want. No, they want to say yes to

18:42 what they want. If you have if you have

18:45 a genius say, hey, here, rub the b rub

18:47 the lamp and rub it and let me let and

18:50 ask you what you want. You're going to

18:51 do that.

18:52 So So understand what it is that they

18:56 want. Next, you got to connect. You got

18:57 to connect with the individual and then

18:59 you can invite them and then of course

19:01 you respect the conversation where

19:03 whichever way it goes. [snorts] But but

19:05 the the the idea here is to understand

19:08 what they went. Now let me ask let me

19:10 tell you something. I'm not

19:11 overpromising here anyways either. By

19:13 the way, you're not overpromising. I'm

19:16 not telling someone. I do sometimes do

19:18 say if I'm talking to someone, [snorts]

19:21 I I also use the script. Let's say I'm

19:23 inviting my friend uh again, let's go

19:26 back to Chef C. And I'm inviting my my

19:29 friend Chef. I say, "Hey, Chef, uh if

19:31 you can earn an additional $5,000 extra

19:33 a month, is that is that worth 20

19:36 minutes of your time that we can talk

19:37 real quick? If you can work if you can

19:39 earn an extra $5,000 extra month around

19:41 your schedule uh without jeopardizing

19:44 what you're currently doing, is that

19:46 worth for you uh 20 minutes of your time

19:49 so we can talk about a business project

19:50 I'm working on?"

19:52 And I I do say I do say that I don't

19:54 overpromise either. Can someone make

19:57 $5,000 a month with Vital Health?

19:59 Absolutely. Can someone make $5,000 a

20:02 week with Vital Health? Absolutely. So,

20:05 but these type of questions again, I'm

20:08 I'm I'm looking for what the need is of

20:12 an individual. Now there's there's um

20:16 there there there there is a structure

20:18 here that I want to that I want to get

20:20 when I'm when I'm talking to someone.

20:22 Number one, I'm listening to them. I'm

20:24 I'm asking questions, listening to them,

20:26 understanding, looking for need, looking

20:28 for want, looking for what what what

20:31 their pain point is and what solution

20:33 can my business bring to them. Then I

20:36 want to connect explain why I thought

20:39 about them. explain to them, hey, I if

20:42 you have a goal, what was what's what's

20:44 I want to help you achieve that goal. I

20:46 mean, and finally, I invite them into

20:48 the business. I invite them to take a

20:51 look at I'm not even inviting them to

20:52 the business. I invite them to take a

20:54 look at the business. I'm not even again

20:56 just to take a look. I don't I I don't

20:58 care reality. I don't care if they join

21:01 or not. I care if they look at it

21:04 because I because how if they join or

21:06 not, you can be attached. You cannot

21:08 attach yourself to the outcome. You you

21:12 can only do the act the act of what

21:16 creates the outcome. But you but when

21:18 you do the act, you disattach yourself

21:21 from the outcome. If the outcome is the

21:24 outcome is God's business. It's not your

21:25 business. It's the universe. It's

21:27 timing's business. It's not your

21:30 business. Your business is to go out

21:32 there and invite other people. That's

21:34 your business. You're in the business of

21:35 inviting other individuals and looking

21:37 for the need how of vital health and how

21:40 vital health can service your business

21:42 can service their lives as as a servant

21:45 leader that you are you're looking for

21:47 how the business can serve their lives

21:50 and and after that after that it's none

21:53 of your business after that what happens

21:54 afterwards you cannot attach yourself

21:56 the reason most people are not are are

21:59 are join the business and last about a

22:01 month or the first three nos they they

22:05 get they get discouraged is because they

22:06 attach themselves to the outcome so much

22:09 and they forgot that it's not about the

22:11 outcome. Yes, the outcome will come but

22:13 the outcome was always through a process

22:15 and the process is is different for all

22:18 of us but the process is also its own

22:21 reward for every single one of us. My

22:23 process was definitely my reward was my

22:25 skill sets that I developed. My my my

22:27 self-development, my self-growth, my

22:30 personal development happened through

22:32 the process. You don't it's hard to see

22:34 that in the beginning. In fact, I don't

22:36 think no one's almost rarely anyone sees

22:39 it like that in the beginning, but it's

22:40 the truth. And thank God that I that I

22:43 had the grit. Thank God that I that I

22:44 hold on to it. Thank God I had good

22:46 mentors and a good system. And I was

22:48 plugging in to calls like this every

22:51 single week. I was plugging into costs

22:52 like this. Thank God for that because

22:54 that the reason I'm I'm I'm here today

22:57 is because of that because of that

22:58 system that I have. So, so that's this.

23:01 Now, now [snorts]

23:02 there's there's many scripts that I can

23:05 share with you, okay? Like like [snorts]

23:06 an expansion script. Let's just talk

23:08 about this. Like, hey man, uh let let's

23:10 say that I'm already connecting with

23:12 someone because you got to have a level

23:14 of connection, right? You cannot if I'm

23:16 talking to someone or I'm sending a

23:18 message to someone, I cannot just if I

23:21 haven't spoken to them in six months or

23:22 a year or two years or five years, you

23:25 can't just go straight into business.

23:27 You guys get that, right? I hope you get

23:29 that. [laughter]

23:31 That's awkward. Okay? No awkwardness

23:33 here, okay? Don't don't do that. What

23:37 you are going to do is you're going to

23:38 connect with someone and you're going to

23:40 become interested in someone else.

23:43 Don't seek to be interesting.

23:46 Seek to be interested.

23:49 Seek out to be interested. Does that

23:51 make sense? Interested in someone else?

23:54 What is happening with their lives? How

23:57 are you? I mean, think about how good

23:59 that feels. Someone me sends you a

24:01 message and asking you how you feel.

24:02 Man, that feels amazing for all of us.

24:04 Everybody feels they feel they want to

24:06 feel heard. They want to feel cared for.

24:09 They want to feel powerful with with

24:11 with that like like they want to feel

24:13 important, right? Everybody has those

24:15 basic human needs. And I'm telling you,

24:18 you got to connect with people first.

24:20 But after I you connect, you can invite

24:22 them. You earn the right to invite them.

24:24 And sometimes, by the way, connection

24:26 might take two or three or four

24:29 different calls or or by by the fifth

24:31 call, that's what it will take. or by

24:33 the fifth time or by the fourth time you

24:34 call them but you keep that in your

24:37 notepad in your list that's what we say

24:39 make a list and when you make a list you

24:41 take notes next to your list and and

24:43 you're making taking notes I spoke to

24:45 Brandon on this day on this time uh his

24:49 son is having a baseball game at this

24:52 day right so next time when I talk when

24:55 I talk to Brandon say hey how was the

24:56 baseball game with your son does that

24:59 make sense again I'm a networker So you

25:02 want to you want to network and part of

25:04 that is listening to other people and

25:06 connecting with them. So so after I do

25:11 all that now I earn the right to talk

25:13 about the expansion and I can say hey

25:14 man uh hey Brandon the last time we

25:17 spoke you mentioned something that that

25:19 you want you could build something that

25:21 maybe you want to build something

25:22 alongside your job. I'm working on the

25:24 business projects expanding

25:26 internationally. Uh I'm connecting with

25:28 several people that are interested in

25:29 the expansion of the company. It's a new

25:31 project that we're expanding. I was

25:32 wondering if you have 20 minutes of your

25:33 time that we can that we can sit down

25:35 and go over this project. Simple

25:38 invitation. Simple invitation, right?

25:41 Another invitation. I call it the

25:42 opinion approach. I I love this

25:44 approach. Uh because is very dis

25:47 disarming. uh let's say I connected with

25:49 someone that's very important and

25:51 someone that who's basically uh you know

25:54 you have your peers but then you have

25:55 someone above you uh that is kind of

25:58 like a someone you look up to but you're

26:00 what happens you're afraid to reaching

26:01 out to them because they're more

26:02 successful than you maybe in the social

26:04 economic scale or they're more

26:06 influential than you in the in the

26:08 influential scale well not to worry you

26:10 can use that if especially if you look

26:12 up to someone you can use that to invite

26:15 them and say let's say I mean let's say

26:17 Janette Janet It's it's a friend of mine

26:19 who's somebody I look up to. She's

26:21 highly influential in her community. Uh

26:24 I I can simply say after I connect with

26:27 her, right? Connecting first. Connect

26:29 first. Okay. Then I I'm I'm able to say,

26:32 "Hey, hey, Janet, listen. I I I respect

26:35 you for such a long time. Uh I was

26:38 actually calling you because I respect

26:39 you for such a long time and and I know

26:41 you have you're so influential in your

26:43 community because of how much you give

26:44 back. you really care for people and

26:46 that's something that I that I learned

26:47 by watching you and and I'm building a

26:50 business project and I'm expanding

26:51 internationally and I would really value

26:53 your perspective on this. Uh it's just I

26:56 I know if you give me your stamp of

26:57 approval, I know that this is something

26:59 that is a good business, but I would

27:01 love for you to take a look at it for

27:02 me. Can you can you give me 10 20

27:05 minutes of your time that we can go over

27:06 this?

27:08 It's an opinion approach. And now what

27:10 if if if you approach someone that you

27:13 look up to with that type level of

27:15 sincerity, what do you think is gonna

27:17 happen? Let me tell you something. I I

27:20 did that I've worked on me, by the way.

27:21 People have done that to me or I knew

27:24 what they were doing, but I I I fell for

27:27 it cuz I was like, you know what, that

27:28 seems very genuine. Of course, I'll give

27:29 you 10 minutes and 15 minutes of your

27:31 time to look at your project. [laughter]

27:33 It's like it works. We because we all

27:36 like we all like that feeling, right? We

27:38 all like that feeling. Number one, we're

27:39 helping someone. Number two, someone's

27:41 looking out for us. You know that it

27:43 works every time. So, the opinion

27:44 approach.

27:46 Um, the other approach I I would talk

27:49 about is that you came to mind approach.

27:52 And and again, [clears throat]

27:54 I remind you I'm going to remind you

27:56 every approach by the way that we talk

27:57 about here. You got to connect first.

28:00 Makes sense, right? Connecting comes

28:03 first, my friends. Um and and and you

28:07 came to mine approach is again exactly I

28:10 use that line. You came to mine. Okay.

28:12 And if I say hey let's say again I'm I'm

28:14 inviting my friend Lonnie. I say hey

28:16 Lonnie look I'm developing a business

28:18 project. You came to mine because you

28:19 are really good at at building

28:21 relationship. I know that you're an

28:23 individual that uh whatever you do man

28:25 I've seen you you you go all in and I so

28:30 that is that is a strength I value

28:31 personally. Uh, and I value that in

28:33 people and I value that in you. I do not

28:35 know whether you're looking to build

28:36 something outside of what you're

28:38 currently doing right now, but if you

28:39 have 20 minutes, can I have 10 20

28:41 minutes of your time? Would love to

28:42 share this business project I'm I'm

28:44 doing. When when is a good time, do you

28:46 think? And and that's it.

28:50 You see you see my my approach is also

28:52 is not I'm not you don't have to be

28:54 weird about it. Again, weird about it is

28:56 where you're hesitant. If you're

28:59 hesitant about it, uh it's because

29:01 you're there you're you're lacking

29:03 belief still. You're lack you're lacking

29:05 belief and you're you're still not clear

29:07 on your values. Okay. Two things,

29:09 beliefs and values. This is why I

29:11 started with this because I want you

29:12 when you invite people have that level

29:15 of of of conviction that comes from your

29:18 beliefs and comes from your values.

29:21 Next, uh reconnect. Let's talk about we

29:24 can talk about the reconnect approach.

29:26 Okay. uh and the reconnect approach uh

29:29 it sounds like this right again I'm

29:31 gonna connect with the individual first

29:33 but you know we're reconnecting

29:36 uh and and it was now I just reconnected

29:39 and let's say um I'm talking to my

29:41 friend Phil say hey Phil it was so good

29:43 to catch up with you one thing I wanted

29:45 to ask you are you open to exploring a

29:47 business uh you could build alongside uh

29:50 your your your current career in real

29:52 estate is that something that you're

29:53 you're open to exploring I have a

29:56 business I'm working with an

29:57 international business project. Uh we're

29:59 expanding some in huge incredible

30:02 technology, a wearable technology here

30:03 in the United States. That is the

30:05 coolest thing and I think that it's a

30:07 business project that a lot of

30:09 influential people are are partnering up

30:11 and I I think it's just the coolest

30:12 thing. If you have 10 20 minutes, we'll

30:14 love to share with you about it. Very

30:17 simple.

30:20 Um the last approach um is is more of an

30:23 approach for what I would say the

30:26 experienced business person and we all

30:29 want entrepreneurs in our in our

30:30 business. Okay. The more entrepreneurs

30:33 we have uh the better it is because

30:35 entrepreneurs have come with a certain

30:37 mindset don't they? They they come with

30:40 a mindset of I'm I produce my own

30:43 income. They come with a mindset that

30:45 you eat what you kill. uh they come with

30:47 a mindset like I have to make it happen.

30:49 There's they're selfarters. You have to

30:51 be a sort of starter if you're an

30:52 entrepreneur. By the way, no one's going

30:54 to come tell you exactly what to do or

30:56 when to do it, how to do it. You get you

30:58 got to be a selfarter. So those

31:00 qualities uh tip transfer really well to

31:04 our business to our business model

31:05 because of it. They they transfer really

31:07 well. So uh the experienced business

31:09 approach, business person approach would

31:11 be uh again I I I connected how are you

31:15 you know I did the connection uh look I

31:18 I I know you're in business so I I I

31:21 I'll get straight to it. Uh I'm building

31:23 a distribution business international

31:24 expansion underway and I and I'm

31:27 interested in connecting with people and

31:29 how to develop relationship and grow

31:30 teams. uh your experience in the in the

31:34 mill steel industry uh made me think of

31:37 you. Uh would you be open to spending 20

31:39 minutes with me reviewing this business

31:41 project is uh some of the high most

31:42 influential people uh in Dallas I'm in

31:45 Dallas uh in Dallas are right now

31:48 partnered up with this project and I

31:49 think uh that it would be worth taking a

31:51 look at. [snorts]

31:53 Very simple approach. They can say yes

31:55 I'm interested or they can say no I'm

31:57 not interested at this very moment or

31:59 thank you very much. But uh you never

32:01 know most what I found most successful

32:04 people they say well I always keep my

32:07 business options open. I'm very busy

32:09 what I'm doing but I'm always open. Does

32:13 that make sense? That's what most su

32:15 most successful people say. Uh there's

32:17 some people that might be you know a

32:20 little more cynical but you know you

32:22 always have everybody in the in

32:23 different thing. But my my whole point

32:25 is this, my friends, is that

32:28 is that when you're inviting, just

32:30 understand that

32:33 that that you're you're sewing seeds.

32:35 Understand that you're you're not here

32:37 to try to convince other people. You're

32:41 here to sew a seed. And and and then

32:45 they decide. You invite, they decide

32:48 what they want to do. But you want to

32:50 get good at inviting. You see how in my

32:52 invitation I didn't talk about I

32:56 [snorts] didn't talk about the business

32:58 uh as far as the details. I didn't talk

33:01 about um anything really. I just I I'm

33:05 just I'm I talk if I talk about anything

33:08 I talk about what they want, what they

33:10 need. And I talk about that that this is

33:12 a business project this is expanding

33:13 internationally. I would love to get

33:15 your opinion on this. I I I I just don't

33:19 don't go into those details. You don't

33:20 have to go into details because what

33:22 their goal is to qualify 20 minutes of

33:26 their time so I can show them and lead

33:29 them to the next step that will be a

33:32 third party tool, a three-way call, a

33:35 third party presentation, a pre-recorded

33:38 presentation through which is third

33:39 party. uh just just something that I can

33:43 that I can a level of exposure so I can

33:47 continue the um the the the next step

33:52 for them to possibly get a business

33:54 partner and create duplication in my

33:56 business. Is this making sense what I'm

33:59 saying? I hope I hope this is helpful

34:01 for every single one of you guys. I'm

34:02 going to stop right here. We're 10:35 in

34:04 already. I I like I like to keep it

34:06 nice, short and sweet and I will have

34:09 these notes for every single one of you

34:12 inside the the Facebook group. So, let's

34:15 go out there and let's make it happen,

34:17 guys. Uh lastly, I would tell you, man,

34:20 if you still haven't committed a

34:21 decision,

34:24 you still haven't made a decision to

34:25 come to Vital Fest, it's not too late.

34:29 Get your ticket. Get your ticket to

34:31 Vital Fest and and and let's make a

35:06 Vitalfest Orlando, my friends. I promise

35:08 you that. And and I give you a guarantee

35:10 that if you tell if you come if you make

35:12 a sacrifice and after the event you come

35:14 to me and say, "Hey, David, this wasn't

35:16 worth it." I will refund you your

35:18 ticket. I will refund you your your

35:20 airline ticket. That's how sure I am of

35:22 this. Yeah, I you will refund you. If

35:24 you come to me, you tell me with a

35:26 straight face, David, this wasn't worth

35:27 it. At the end of the at the end of the

35:29 event, I won't ask I won't ask any

35:32 questions. I will simply refund you

35:34 because I believe that this is this is

35:36 this will be a lifechanging event for

35:39 you. So, make it there. Make the

35:42 sacrifice. Make it happen. And and and

35:45 this will be part of your story. Part of

35:47 your story. Some of you say, "David, I

35:48 don't even I don't even know how I'm

35:50 going to get there. I don't have the

35:51 money for a hotel. I don't even have a

35:53 ticket." None of that matters, my

35:55 friends. None of that matters. Believe

35:57 it or not, none of that matters. What

35:59 matters is is making a decision. That's

36:02 what matters. And from there, from

36:04 there, um I can't explain it. It's like

36:09 the universe conspires

36:11 to make it happen for you. When you make

36:14 a true decision and you say, "I'm going

36:16 to be there and I'm going to do this in

36:18 faith." And you just you walk in faith,

36:21 my friends, not in fear. And that's

36:23 that's has been that has been a an

36:25 underlining theme of my life. By the

36:27 way, underlining theme of my life is

36:30 that I have walked in faith in every

36:32 step of the way. I have stumbled. I have

36:34 fallen. I have I have I have I have had

36:38 to take five, 10, 20 step backs, but

36:40 none of that matter. And my faith would

36:43 never waver for what what was what I

36:46 knew what was possible in my life and

36:48 what's possible from this moment on

36:49 today to this day. I'm so grateful and

36:53 still walking in faith, my friends. Walk

36:55 in faith. See you in every single one of

36:57 you in body health. I'm going to go

36:59 ahead and do I pass it back to Ariel.

37:02 We're good here.
