0:00 Morning. Good morning,

0:02 Chef and Brandon. Usually y'all are like

0:05 battling each other for like first on

0:07 screen.

0:09 I like it. Good day. Pardon my still

0:13 drying wet hair. I do know I look a

0:16 little like a wet poodle, but this is

0:18 sometimes a curly hair girl problem.

0:21 Good morning, afternoon, or evening

0:24 wherever you may be dialing in from. Let

0:27 us know in the chat where you're

0:29 reaching out to us today from so that we

0:32 can say our proper salutations. Pulling

0:35 out some big words today. All right,

0:38 let's do this. This is we're on the home

0:42 stretch headed into close out, right?

0:46 So, October 1st, we're baby stepping our

0:49 way back to a real calendar month

0:51 closeout. Okay. So, October 1st this

0:54 month and then next month it will

0:56 actually be the 31st. So, this month we

0:59 end on October 1st. That is our closeout

1:03 day. So, this has been shared, but we'll

1:06 keep sharing it as well, just as a

1:08 reminder.

1:10 And then we still have our super

1:11 nutrition kit going out. Um, I love that

1:14 Carla calls it the Genius 60 Happy Box.

1:17 I like it. It is happy. I like the

1:19 colors. Like the box has a little game

1:21 on it for the kids and I might steal

1:24 this thermos from my stepdaughter. I

1:26 don't know. We'll see. But you can

1:29 purchase this until the end of closeout

1:32 month, right? So October 1st, this is

1:35 still available. Um, this is for members

1:38 only. So that does include preferred

1:40 customers. And the reason for that is

1:42 because it has the automated guide. So,

1:44 you have to be able to link into a back

1:46 office kind of like the the core and be

1:49 able to use the system to help guide you

1:52 with your nutrition program and the

1:53 family and stuff. So, that's that. We

1:57 also have what Africa opened this week.

2:00 Yes, it opened on Monday. Pay no

2:03 attention to that random uh September

2:05 31st. This goes until the end of this

2:08 month, which is the 30th. So, you can

2:11 get a membership in Africa for only $5

2:15 using the code Africa until the end of

2:18 September. Okay.

2:21 This evening,

2:24 our habanero moon herself, Sarah

2:26 Shamoon, will be on our wellness

2:29 Wednesday call. This is exciting. She

2:31 always brings just so much knowledge and

2:33 passion for for natural wellness and for

2:37 what we do here and for everything

2:39 that's going on. So, it's exciting um to

2:41 have her back on the call. You're going

2:43 to love it. And then tomorrow night, we

2:47 do have an Einstein's kids call that

2:49 will have translation.

2:51 So, this will be um tomorrow night. So,

2:54 take a picture of this. This has been

2:55 shared, but we will also share this

2:57 again also leading up to the call. And

3:00 if you are anything like me, it's kind

3:04 of hard to get um all of these time

3:07 zones correct. So, I put this in the

3:09 grab and go this morning. It's a little

3:12 cheat sheet I think that might help.

3:14 Like if it's 87 I grew up with like, you

3:17 know, like TGIF, right? When it was like

3:19 8:7 central. So, um if it's that time

3:24 here, that means it's this time

3:26 somewhere else. Um, I know these are all

3:28 PM ones, but I think that at least this

3:30 is helping my brain. So, I tossed it in

3:33 the grab and go in case that helps

3:34 anyone else just to comprehend the time

3:37 differences between certain things,

3:39 especially if you're going to start

3:41 building in these different markets and

3:43 stuff like that. And then tonight after

3:45 our wellness Wednesday call, we do have

3:48 our road to Atlanta call that's going on

3:52 all week. Tomorrow will be our last one,

3:54 but tonight, hop on that call. They've

3:56 had extremely great attendance. I've

3:58 been I've been a little fly on the wall

4:00 for those calls. That's been really fun

4:03 to hear. Their market is so pumped up

4:05 for this Saturday because we are coming

4:08 to Atlanta this weekend. This is going

4:11 to be so exciting. Um

4:14 Oh, sorry. I actually didn't even change

4:17 out this. Stephanie will not be there.

4:18 But you know who is going? Mr. Philip

4:21 Birfield. So, still a stacked cast. It's

4:24 going to be insane. They're super

4:26 pumped. Every single night, their calls

4:29 have been on fire. So, this is going to

4:31 be really, really fun, right? But it's

4:32 leading us all to Vitalfest.

4:34 Everything's leading us to Vital Fest,

4:36 right? So, next month, this is so

4:40 exciting. We are going to Orlando as a

4:44 community

4:46 and we there's just so much that's going

4:48 to be launched here. Stuff that we can't

4:49 tell you, stuff that's been teased out

4:52 even more. Um the speakers are so

4:54 amazing and that's going to be coming

4:56 out soon as well. So it's just really

5:00 fun to be there. So if you have not

5:02 bought your tickets yet, go ahead and go

5:04 get them because the ticket prices will

5:06 be increasing sometime soon. And I want

5:09 you to get them at this price because

5:11 early bird already closed down. So go

5:13 ahead and join us in Orlando. It's going

5:15 to be amazing. And now without further

5:18 ado,

5:20 I get to turn it over to my sister down

5:23 the neighborhood, my my Houstonian, my

5:26 fellow Houstonian. She's a Red Raider

5:29 and I'm a Longhorn, but it's okay.

5:30 There's still, you know, there's still a

5:32 lot of love here because we're not

5:33 Sooners. You see how that works out?

5:34 Because we're not Sooners. We can still

5:36 love each other. Um, so JMO, take it

5:39 away. She's gonna teach us about success

5:42 today. I'm so excited.

5:45 >> All right. Thank you so much, Adriel.

5:47 And how do you manage to still look

5:49 beautiful with your hair wet? I you

5:51 still look amazing. Um, you know, me,

5:54 not so much when my hair is wet. So,

5:57 really great to see you guys this

5:58 morning. Make sure you're dropping in

6:00 the chat. Let us know where you're

6:02 coming in from. And, uh, man, talking

6:05 about the kids stuff. Okay, little funny

6:07 story. You can use it as a testimonial,

6:09 maybe. I don't know. But, uh, my husband

6:12 was super sick about 3 weeks ago. And

6:15 shortly after that, I got sick. I got

6:16 whatever he had. And I was just really,

6:20 it was just kind of hanging on, hanging

6:21 on. Maybe that's because I'm a little

6:23 bit older. We'll just say that. Um, but

6:26 I couldn't shake it. And I was doing all

6:28 my vital health and all that. And

6:29 somebody said, "Hey, add on the kids

6:32 defense." And I was like, "Really? For

6:34 adults?" And they were like, "Yeah, do

6:36 the defense." So I added the Defense.

6:39 They actually told me to put it in my V

6:40 daily, which I ended up not doing that.

6:43 I kind of drank it separate. And I love

6:44 it. I drink it every day now. Just

6:46 saying. So, I don't know, Adriel. I

6:48 think we need to come out with a defense

6:50 for adults. What do y'all say? Put it in

6:52 the chat if you think we need a little

6:54 immunity for adults in stick form. I

6:57 love it. So, I drink it every day now,

7:00 even though it's for kids.

7:02 So, just little tip. Um, all right.

7:05 Yeah. So, without any further ado, we're

7:07 going to get started today. Um, I

7:09 figured that the topic that I was going

7:10 to talk about today, and I kind of

7:12 pushed the easy button, it's a keynote

7:14 speech that I've given before based on a

7:17 book that I was really honored to be

7:18 part of called Success Habits of Super

7:21 Achievers, uh, with some really

7:26 less brown in it, Mark Victor Hansen. I

7:29 don't know if you guys are familiar with

7:31 any of those folks, but um, I was super

7:34 honored to be a part of this book. Um,

7:36 this was a few years ago now and I kind

7:39 of put together a little keynote around

7:40 it and I've given it a couple of times

7:42 and I'm not going to be able to make it

7:44 as interactive as I usually am when I'm

7:46 doing it in person, but I thought I'd

7:48 run you through it because I feel like

7:50 especially going into uh Vital Fest

7:54 number one, which I'm super excited

7:56 about uh in October, but also just in

7:59 our business, okay, you know, it's it's

8:02 hard enough for most of us. I know when

8:05 I first started in direct sales and

8:06 network marketing, I was a

8:07 pharmaceutical rep and you know, I was a

8:10 really good employee, right? I was used

8:12 to being given tasks every single day of

8:15 what I needed to do, sort of

8:16 instructions, right? A framework to work

8:18 around. And then when I sort of started

8:20 my side hustle business through direct

8:22 sales, I was a little bit lost. I'd

8:24 never been an entrepreneur before. I

8:26 knew how to be successful at my job kind

8:29 of because they give you that road map.

8:31 But even though we have great road maps

8:33 here, you know, really if it's kind of

8:35 that mantra, if it is to be, it's up to

8:37 me, right? So, we all look to those

8:39 super achievers in the space um you

8:42 know, which there's we have tons here in

8:44 vital health. In fact, I want you to

8:47 drop in the chat right now who you think

8:50 is a major superachiever

8:52 uh here at Vital Health and somebody

8:55 that you really look up to and you just

8:56 think to yourself, man, if I could just

8:59 hang out with them for the day and

9:00 figure out what their habits are, uh

9:03 that's the person I'd want to do. So, if

9:05 you know who that is, drop it in the

9:07 chat. Let me see who you really look up

9:09 to, who you really love, who you really

9:11 want to emulate, model in terms of

9:13 success in this business. and um you

9:15 know kind of let's kind of ease into

9:17 that end of the pool in terms of

9:19 success. So I'm going to share my screen

9:21 real quick with you guys so that I can

9:23 walk you through these which I'm a

9:26 little bit of a technoard I always say.

9:29 So this might take me a hot second to

9:31 just get everything set up where I can

9:33 see you and you can see me and I can see

9:35 the chat and all the whole nine yards.

9:37 So let me see if this will work for me

9:40 real quick. Okay, can y'all see my

9:42 screen? Give me a thumbs up. All right.

9:45 Yay. Okay. Good. All right. So, this is

9:48 what we're going to talk about today.

9:50 Success habits of superachievers. Now, I

9:53 already asked you guys this question and

9:55 you guys put some great folks in the

9:57 chat. I saw a lot of people talking

9:59 about Miles Stallard. Oh my gosh, love

10:01 him and Heidi Brooke and David, you

10:04 know, complete rock star, super

10:05 achievers in this in this space. Um, I

10:08 see Miranda Avery, somebody listed. Um,

10:12 let's see. Philip Birfeld, of course.

10:15 You know, Sarah, beautiful Sarah, Miss

10:18 Vanessa,

10:19 Tina D'Angelo. Oh my gosh, y'all are

10:21 just shouting out some amazing people to

10:24 really look up to and follow. Jay, I

10:26 know. I love me some Eric Eve, too. And

10:28 some Keith Williams. And oh my goodness,

10:31 awesome, awesome, awesome. Okay, well

10:34 that just kind of put those people in

10:36 your brain. coming from down the street.

10:38 So I fig

10:41 going on

10:43 camera.

10:45 >> I don't know if you've if you've got

10:46 access.

10:46 >> So what's they saying? Can they do

10:49 something?

10:50 >> Hello Adriel. Are you still on it?

10:53 >> Got it. Got it.

10:54 >> Okay. Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate

10:56 it. Okay. Um so just to go back real

10:59 quick. I hit the wrong button. So, some

11:01 of the super achievers that I've had the

11:04 uh pleasure of meeting over the years

11:05 and really look up to uh Troy Aman over

11:08 there in the little picture. We were

11:10 doing the out way to go sign because our

11:12 girls uh all and my son too went to a

11:15 camp called Camp Longhorn. That's their

11:16 little sign. I got the honor of meeting

11:18 Rick Springfield in person. Got to hang

11:20 out with him down in the Bahamas uh when

11:23 I ran into their crew at um the Atlantis

11:26 Resort. and but probably my biggest

11:29 superachiever, one of the people that I

11:31 really look up to the most uh as a

11:33 mentor would be John Maxwell. I'm a

11:35 Maxwell certified uh leadership coach

11:38 and just love John, everything that he's

11:41 about and have really sat at his feet to

11:43 learn from him over the years. Super

11:45 super amazing guy. And so I don't know

11:48 who that might be outside the space, but

11:50 maybe there's a super achiever that you

11:51 also admire uh that you follow. maybe

11:54 read their books, listen to their

11:55 podcasts, maybe drop that in the

11:57 comments as well as as uh that might be

12:00 a help to other people who maybe don't

12:02 know those people and can look them up.

12:05 Um but drop in chat who you look up to,

12:07 who you get mentorship from, who you

12:09 like to follow, um books that you like

12:12 to read, all of that and uh let's help

12:13 each other out in that regard. Okay, so

12:16 these are just a few qualities of

12:18 superachievers. If you don't see one on

12:21 the list that you think needs to be

12:22 added, throw that in the chat for sure.

12:25 But I would say they need to be

12:27 intelligent, right? You when you see a

12:29 super achiever, you know, they're pretty

12:30 smart people typically. Um, responsible.

12:33 They're usually honest because it's

12:35 really hard to be a superachiever if

12:36 you're not honest. If you don't have

12:38 integrity, right? Motivated,

12:40 disciplined, resilient, actionoriented.

12:43 They've got grit, man. They can hang in

12:45 there. Um, they're okay with delayed

12:48 gratification. Typically, also, they

12:50 don't need it to be immediate. They've

12:52 got patience in that regard, which I

12:54 always say, I prayed for patience and

12:56 God sent me this industry, direct sales

12:58 and network marketing. Um, embrace

13:01 change. They they persevere. They've got

13:03 a growth mindset. That is huge, huge,

13:06 huge. You know, we all know that in

13:08 terms of leadership, I think the best

13:10 leaders and the best people to work with

13:12 in our business are people who are

13:14 always humble and they remain coachable

13:18 and teachable. That's such a big deal.

13:20 Um, strong willed and big picture

13:23 thinker. They are visionaries. They tend

13:25 to see things from a 32,000 foot view

13:27 and they don't get all bogged down in

13:29 the minutia all the time. All right.

13:32 Aristotle famously said, "We are what we

13:36 repeatedly do." Excellence then is not

13:39 an act but a habit. Okay. So, we're

13:43 going to talk about some of these

13:45 habits. What really creates um a

13:48 superachiever. Now, I'm hoping this

13:51 works. This is a little video that I'm

13:52 going to play for you, but I think it

13:54 speaks a lot to the first habit we're

13:57 going to talk about, which is belief in

13:59 yourself. So, let me see if I can play

14:01 it for you. And PS, by the way, this was

14:03 an old Nintendo commercial, so some of

14:06 you may be familiar with that if you're

14:08 as old as I am. But here we go. Training

14:11 fleas requires a glass jar with a lid.

14:15 The fleas are placed inside the jar and

14:17 the lid is then sealed.

14:23 They are left undisturbed for 3 days.

14:28 Then when the jar is opened, the fleas

14:31 will not jump out.

14:34 In fact, the fleas will never jump

14:36 higher than the level set by the lid.

14:41 Their behavior is now set for the rest

14:42 of their lives.

14:47 And when these fleas reproduce, their

14:50 offspring will automatically follow

14:52 their example.

15:00 Okay. So, the reason I love that video,

15:03 it's because years and years, Whoops.

15:06 Years and years and years ago, I had a

15:09 mentor who kind of talked about this

15:12 whole research experiment from stage.

15:15 And it was a real research experiment,

15:17 believe it or not. You can look it up.

15:18 Um, but it's pretty crazy how even these

15:21 little fleas in this jar with their

15:24 little free flea brain figured out just

15:27 how high they could jump before they

15:29 would hurt themselves on the lid. But

15:31 what was even crazier to me is that when

15:33 that lid was removed, they still thought

15:35 it was there. And they would never jump

15:38 any higher than what they had learned

15:40 where that lid sat. Right? Even though

15:43 the lid was gone, it's now an imaginary

15:45 lid. It's not even there. But they're

15:46 not even going to test those limits. And

15:49 that's kind of the way we are because

15:52 over time people screw lids down on us,

15:55 don't they? I mean, it can come from

15:57 family, unfortunately, sometimes

16:00 teachers, coaches, um friends. It can

16:03 come from spiritual mentors like pastors

16:06 or or priests. But over time, people

16:09 speak into you. Sometimes they're

16:11 speaking life, but sometimes they're

16:13 speaking death, right? they're not

16:15 always um you know doing something out

16:17 of your best interest in terms of what

16:20 they're saying over you. Like they might

16:22 say when you try to really think outside

16:24 the box, you get involved in a business,

16:26 they're like, "What do you know about

16:27 business? Nobody in our family has ever

16:29 run their own business, you know?" Or,

16:32 "You're always too short or too tall,

16:34 right, in athletics, or too big or too

16:36 little." Or, you know, you're if you're

16:39 trying to model, you know, you're too

16:41 pretty, you're not pretty enough. You

16:43 know, it's always something and all

16:45 these things that people speak into your

16:48 life sort of screw these lids down and

16:50 we start thinking that is who we are and

16:53 it becomes basically self-limiting

16:56 beliefs over time. And so, you know,

16:59 that is something that I feel like

17:01 superachievers, they really push beyond

17:03 those limits and they try to bust

17:05 through those lids and really surround

17:07 themselves with people that are going to

17:09 speak life into them and not death,

17:11 right? Okay, habit number two. You've

17:14 got to keep a clarity of vision. And

17:16 this is one of my favorite quotes by

17:18 Helen Keller. The only thing worse than

17:21 being blind is having sight but no

17:23 vision. That was such a powerful quote

17:26 considering that Helen Keller was blind,

17:29 deaf, and mute, right? But yet still

17:32 achieved so much in her life. And that's

17:35 just huge. Um, you know, I always look

17:38 at that as wow that is such a powerful

17:40 thing. sight but no vision. All right.

17:43 So, we're going to talk about why having

17:45 vision is important. Okay. First of all,

17:48 when you have that big picture uh

17:51 mentality, when you've got that vision

17:54 over what your vital health business can

17:56 do for you or mean to you or what you

17:58 can accomplish through it, it will help

18:01 you set goals, right? your smart goals,

18:04 which SMART is an acronym for specific,

18:07 measurable, actionable. Um, and um,

18:10 gosh, I just blanked on the R. If

18:12 somebody remembers what the R is, drop

18:13 it in there. Um, and T, which is you

18:15 want to put it on a timeline, right?

18:17 It's something that you can do with an

18:21 and it'll help you set those goals and

18:23 expectations. It keeps you focused. It

18:25 helps you avoid the distractions when

18:27 when you have a bigger vision because

18:30 when you're down in the weeds, then it's

18:32 easy for those little cares, little

18:33 distractions to kind of grow in uh and

18:36 and really distract you from the bigger

18:38 purpose. It helps you identify your

18:40 strengths and weaknesses and allows you

18:42 to recognize opportunities that are in

18:44 alignment with your vision, encourages

18:46 you to take action when necessary, and

18:48 it establishes or affirms your why.

18:52 Okay. Now, I don't know if you guys have

18:54 really written down your why for vital

18:57 health. And a lot of times people say,

18:59 "Well, I'm just doing it because I need

19:00 extra money." It's usually not about the

19:02 money. It's usually about what the money

19:04 will do for you. Why do you need that

19:06 extra money? What would having that

19:08 extra $500 a month or $1,000 a month?

19:12 What would that do in your life if you

19:14 had that? That is your why. But even

19:16 bigger than that, and I've heard this a

19:18 lot in this industry, and I I really

19:20 believe it. You really need a why that

19:22 makes you cry. It's got to be that big.

19:25 That is really ultimately your vision.

19:28 Your vision is so tied to your why. And

19:31 I don't know if you guys feel

19:32 comfortable, but feel free to drop in

19:35 here what your why is. If you really

19:38 want to put it in writing, make it

19:39 plain, as the proverb says, you know, uh

19:42 that you want to put it down. Write it

19:44 down and make it plain. and you want to

19:46 just tell everybody on here because you

19:48 know we're all accountability partners

19:49 here at Vital Health. We're one big

19:51 family. So, if you've got a big why,

19:53 let's drop it in the chat. Let's share

19:55 our wise with each other and kind of

19:57 tell each other what we got going on,

19:59 why we're here, and um you know, we've

20:02 got a lot of folks on here that all know

20:03 each other and we're going to hold you

20:04 accountable to that. So, drop that in

20:07 the chat. All right, habit number three,

20:10 maintaining a positive attitude. Now,

20:12 this has been interesting because this

20:13 is something that I've been seeing just

20:15 in leadership chats recently. I mean,

20:18 it's super easy to get distracted uh by

20:21 things that I feel like the enemy just

20:23 puts in front of you sometimes to keep

20:25 you from your ultimate purpose. And

20:28 because of that, it's hard to maintain a

20:29 positive attitude. Um, in fact, I heard

20:32 John Addison who at the time he was the

20:35 CEO of Primame and he spoke at an event

20:38 that I was at in the network marketing

20:41 space and he said he he posed this

20:43 question which I thought was so

20:45 incredible. He just said, "Why is it

20:48 that it's always easier when it comes to

20:50 gardening to grow weeds than flowers?

20:53 Why is that?" And he really kind of

20:56 likened it back to the fact that, you

20:58 know, God, you know, I'm not trying to

21:01 take anybody to church here, but I'm a

21:02 Christian. So, I'm like, you know, I

21:04 believe God created each and every one

21:06 of us for greatness. But, you know what,

21:08 man? Those weeds can creep in. We have

21:11 to really stay focused, and we have to

21:13 make sure that we're putting a little

21:16 sunshine on the flowers in our life,

21:17 that we're watering the flowers in our

21:20 life in order to maintain that positive

21:22 attitude. Um, I think there's actually a

21:24 scripture that says we need to focus on

21:26 what is pure, what is right, what is

21:28 lovely, what is noble. And I love that

21:31 because I try to remind myself of that

21:33 when I really start to feel those weeds

21:36 creeping in and I've got to cultivate my

21:38 edge to keep them out. I've got to just

21:40 say, I can't pay attention to that. You

21:42 know, I just said to a friend of mine

21:44 the other day, we have to be like raceh

21:46 horses with blinders on. They put those

21:49 blinders on the raceh horses for a

21:51 reason and it's so that they're not

21:53 looking left and they're not looking

21:54 right because they just need to be going

21:56 straight towards the finish line. And so

21:59 one of the biggest habits of super

22:00 achievers is maintaining that positive

22:02 attitude, running their race and keeping

22:05 those distractions at bay. Um and I

22:08 think you know one of the big ones too

22:10 obviously it's on here as one of my top

22:12 10 is is habit number is practicing

22:15 gratitude. Uh the first leader that

22:17 comes to mind in vital health for me

22:19 when I think of the word gratitude is

22:22 always Sarah Shimon, right? Uh habanero

22:25 moon I think is was the little phrase

22:28 she was uh everybody was calling her at

22:29 the leadership retreat that we were on.

22:31 But you know every time you compliment

22:34 her, every time you say something that's

22:36 a word of affirmation to her, she'll

22:39 always look at you and say gratitude,

22:41 right? Because she just feels gratitude

22:44 when you say that. She says, "Thank

22:46 you." And I and I know that for a lot of

22:49 people um and I see it especially I feel

22:52 like more in women than even in men.

22:54 Sometimes I feel like men it's easier

22:55 for them to say compliments. But I see a

22:58 lot of women especially they'll kind of

23:00 you you compliment them on whatever and

23:02 they'll be like, "Oh, thank you." But

23:04 and then they'll kind of dog themselves

23:06 in the next sentence. You know, they'll

23:08 be like, "Oh, I appreciate that." But

23:10 really, but you know what? Just say, "I

23:12 receive that gratitude, right? And that

23:16 really comes from the practice of

23:18 gratitude. In fact, research shows that

23:20 practicing gratitude just 15 minutes a

23:22 day, 5 days a week for at least six

23:24 weeks can enhance mental wellness and

23:27 possibly promote lasting change in

23:30 perspective. That's huge. This is UCLA

23:32 health saying this. All right. Gratitude

23:34 and its mental health benefits can also

23:36 posit positively affect your physical

23:39 health. And that's what we're all about

23:41 here at Vital Health, right? We've got

23:42 it in the name. We want people to be

23:44 healthy and that's just not physically

23:47 that's mentally, emotionally,

23:49 spiritually, relationally healthy and

23:52 that really comes from a place of

23:54 gratitude. So, you know, really try to

23:57 take your daily gratitude pill every

24:00 morning. you know, create a little space

24:02 in your mornings before you pick up your

24:05 phone and start reading all the negative

24:06 Nellies and Nies that are on there on

24:08 your social media or all the, you know,

24:11 crap that's going on in the news and try

24:13 to practice a little gratitude. Yeah.

24:16 Gratitude every day, all day. You're

24:18 right. Exactly right. Okay. Ways to

24:22 practice gratitude. I know a lot of

24:24 people keep gratitude journals. Um, you

24:27 know, my daily practice of gratitude

24:29 really started through a friend of mine,

24:30 Danell Delgado, and her book, I Choose

24:34 Joy. Um, which I actually had given to

24:37 me by her, but I know a lot of other

24:39 people that I've run into over the years

24:40 that have used that particular journal.

24:42 But there's so many out there now, um,

24:45 that you can find them anywhere. And you

24:47 don't even need that. You can actually

24:48 just get out a little blank notebook and

24:51 just start doing, you know, the practice

24:54 of gratitude every single day. Um, write

24:56 a thank you note. I mean, think of

24:58 somebody right now that you feel has

25:01 really helped you in your vital health

25:02 business. Um, and make that personal.

25:05 Make that note personal. Write it down.

25:08 Bring it with you to Orlando to

25:09 Vitalfest. Hand it to them in person.

25:12 Bring them a little gift. Just that act

25:15 of practicing that gratitude is not only

25:18 great for them ultimately, but it's also

25:20 good for you. Um, in fact, drop in the

25:23 chat some people that you are super

25:24 grateful for right now in this business.

25:27 Drop it in the chat. Let let's let's

25:29 shout them out. Let's give them some

25:30 gratitude. Um, send a thank you gift.

25:33 Thank someone mentally. Just say, you

25:35 know, wow. And to me, that's a prayer.

25:38 That's just praying over someone. Like,

25:40 I really pray that Adriel is blessed

25:42 today. She did such a great job teeing

25:44 this up. She shows up consistently every

25:46 single morning uh to help everybody get

25:49 loaded on to make the announcement.

25:51 She's here every single day. I have so

25:53 much gratitude for Adriel and you know,

25:57 but I could do that without being on a

25:58 Zoom talking to you guys. I could just

26:00 sit there and say, you know, God, please

26:02 just bless Adriel today. I'm so grateful

26:04 for her. And I feel like whether you

26:06 believe in God or the universe, that

26:08 sends out good energy, good vibes, and

26:10 that person is just going to feel it. I

26:12 believe that. Count your blessings,

26:15 meditate, pray, whatever you need to do,

26:17 but just start practicing

26:19 uh gratitude on the daily. All right,

26:22 let's talk about daily affirmations.

26:24 Now, some of y'all may not be old enough

26:26 to remember this. In fact, give me a

26:28 five in the chat if you remember on

26:30 Saturday Night Live, there was a

26:32 character called Stuart Smallley, I

26:34 believe. Drop a five if you're old

26:36 enough to remember that. And he would

26:38 look in the mirror and he'd say, "I'm

26:41 smart enough. I'm whatever." and dog on

26:44 it, people like me. I can't remember the

26:46 exact the I'm good enough, I'm smart

26:48 enough, and dog on it, people like me.

26:50 He would say that every single time. It

26:51 was hilarious. Um, but that's what I

26:53 think of when I think of daily

26:54 affirmations. And you know, everybody

26:56 used to laugh at the Steuart Smallley

26:58 character, but he was on to something.

27:00 Let me tell you, because it's true. I

27:02 mean, there are times when I'm just down

27:05 or um I'm actually in a situation right

27:07 now, my oldest daughter's going through

27:09 some stuff and I was talking to her the

27:11 other day and I just really had to pour

27:14 love and affirmations into her. But I

27:17 said, you know, I can say this over you

27:18 all day long, but you've got to believe

27:20 it. You've got to pour that into

27:21 yourself, right? Probably the biggest

27:24 one is my self-worth is totally separate

27:26 from other people's opinions. You know,

27:29 I've told my kids this forever. You

27:31 cannot control what other people do, how

27:35 they act, what they say, how they

27:38 respond. You can't control that. But

27:40 yet, we tend to spend like 98% of our

27:42 time trying to do exactly that. But it's

27:46 a waste of our energy. All we can do,

27:48 and we can do this through affirmations

27:50 as well, is control how we think, how we

27:53 act, what we say, what we do, how we

27:57 show up in the world. Right? So, your

28:00 self-worth is completely separate from

28:01 other people's opinions. That's a great

28:03 one. I easily and consistently attract

28:06 strong leaders to my team. Wouldn't that

28:08 be great? Prosperity and abundance flow

28:11 naturally into my business. Senator Al

28:14 Franken. Oh my gosh, I remember him. Um,

28:16 I approach my business today with high

28:19 energy and joyful discipline. Just

28:21 saying that makes me pumped up. High

28:23 energy. I want you wherever you are

28:25 right now. People might stare at you if

28:27 you're like, you know, listening to me

28:28 on your AirPod as you're shopping, but I

28:30 want you to just say out loud, "High

28:32 energy."

28:34 Come on, drop it in the chat. High

28:36 energy.

28:37 Joyful. I am joyful. Wow. That just

28:40 pumps me up just to say it. I am

28:41 unstoppable.

28:43 I'm telling you, man. It just brings

28:45 energy. Gives me chills, goosebumps,

28:48 right? Just awesome. All right. Now, do

28:51 daily affirmations work? Absolutely.

28:54 There's a gentleman named Bob Proctor.

28:56 Okay. Now, I don't really agree with

28:58 everything Bob says, and you know, God

29:00 rest his soul. He's passed away now, but

29:02 he's kind of most famous for really um

29:06 pushing forward Napoleon uh Hills Think

29:09 and Grow Rich as well as the law of

29:11 attraction and talking about the secret.

29:14 If you've ever heard of the book The

29:15 Secret and Manifestation, a lot of all

29:17 the manifestation stuff comes from the

29:19 groundwork Bob Proctor laid. I'm kind of

29:22 more of a Godifestation girl. I always

29:24 believe that every good and perfect gift

29:26 comes from above, but I got to take

29:27 action on that, right? For sure. So, I

29:29 give God the credit versus myself. But I

29:33 will say this, his affirmation right

29:35 here that he talked about non-stop. He's

29:38 literally famous for it was this. I am

29:41 so happy. Oh my gosh, somebody just put

29:43 Stuart Small in the chat. Sorry. Talk

29:45 about shiny ball distraction. Um, I am

29:48 so happy and grateful now that money

29:51 comes to me in increasing quantities

29:52 through multiple sources on a continuous

29:55 basis. In fact, I want y'all to say that

29:57 with me either silently because you

30:00 don't want people to think you're

30:01 talking to yourself, but let's repeat

30:03 after me. I am so happy

30:07 and grateful

30:09 now that money comes to me

30:13 in increasing quantities

30:16 through multiple sources

30:19 on a continuous basis.

30:22 Say that over and over and over and I'm

30:25 telling you, you will just see abundance

30:28 in your life. You are speaking life into

30:30 yourself. you are activating what that

30:32 Holy Spirit put in you to really put

30:35 yourself out there and attract great

30:38 things into your life. I do believe

30:39 that. All right. Now, I had the honor

30:43 and the privilege, this was years ago,

30:45 of being in a magazine called Networking

30:48 Times. And at the time, I was in my

30:50 former company, and there was a

30:52 gentleman on my team that was really

30:54 good friends with the son of a gentleman

30:56 named Jimmy Smith. Any of you guys know

30:59 Jimmy Smith? If you know who Jimmy Smith

31:01 is, they used to call him Jimmy the

31:02 Butcher. Smith, not because he was a

31:05 mafia guy, but because he was a butcher

31:07 till he was 62 years old, I believe. But

31:09 if you know Jimmy the Butcher Smith,

31:11 drop a one in the chat. But Jimmy is a

31:15 top earner in our industry with another

31:17 health and wellness company. And at the

31:19 time, I was with a health and wellness

31:21 company. And uh this gentleman on my

31:23 team set this up basically by telling

31:25 you know uh Jimmy, hey, you know,

31:28 Jennifer was in this magazine. You were

31:29 in it too. She'd love to meet you. And

31:31 you got to love Jimmy because the man

31:34 still he was trying to recruit me all

31:36 day long. But I got to spend all day

31:38 Sunday at his house. 9,000t house, 3,000

31:41 square ft. Uh you know, living space

31:45 upstairs 3,000 ft². And then his whole

31:48 bottom floor was 3,000 square ft,

31:50 totally built out for his business. He

31:52 had a meeting room, he had a sampling

31:54 room, he had his office. It was crazy.

31:57 He hosts meetings at his house all the

31:58 time. It's nuts. Um, but he walked up,

32:01 answered the door, and that man in that

32:03 picture right there is uh 89 years old.

32:05 He was 89. Let me double check that on

32:07 my notes. Yeah, 89 years old. I met him

32:10 in 2017.

32:12 answered the door literally wearing Air

32:14 Jordans and looking like that. And we

32:17 had a great day. But what I thought was

32:19 incredible, and in fact, I took pictures

32:21 of them and put them in the thing, but I

32:23 I literally have them in my hands right

32:25 here. He signed the back of them for me.

32:29 This man makes $600,000

32:31 a month. Let that resonate. I know it's

32:34 hard to believe. It's like winning the

32:35 lottery. 600 grand a month. And got to

32:38 love my girl on my team. She was trying

32:40 to recruit him to our business and I was

32:41 like, he has 600,000 reasons to say no.

32:44 But he obviously is successful. Didn't

32:47 even start in network marketing. In

32:49 fact, I wrote the notes on here uh until

32:51 he was 62.

32:53 And um he had kind of started and

32:55 failed, started and failed. Ended up

32:57 building this huge business and leaving

32:58 a huge legacy. And he had this

33:01 meditation that he said every single

33:03 day, which you can see right there on

33:04 your screen, but if you can't see the

33:06 screen, you're just listening, I'm going

33:07 to read it to you. He said this

33:09 literally on the daily and when he

33:11 handed me the card, he didn't even look

33:12 at it. Just handed it to me and read it.

33:15 And it was, "Share your love, your joy,

33:18 your happiness, your time, your food,

33:20 your money gladly with all." What does

33:22 that sound like? Generosity, service.

33:26 Give out all the love you can with a

33:28 glad, free heart and hand. Do all you

33:31 can for others, and back will come

33:33 countless stores of blessings. Sharing

33:37 draws others to you. Words of wisdom

33:41 from someone who's obviously successful

33:42 in this space, a super achieve achiever.

33:45 And he just said it. We're not selling.

33:48 We are sharing. We are sorting. Looking

33:50 for leaders for the business. And we are

33:52 sharing the vital health family and the

33:55 products with others. Sharing draws

33:59 others to you. So awesome. Take all who

34:03 come as sent by God. Pretty cool, right?

34:06 Everybody who comes to you on your team,

34:09 they're sent by God. And give them all a

34:12 royal welcome.

34:14 You may never see the results of your

34:16 sharing. Key. He's giving you some

34:18 insight. You may never see the results

34:20 of your sharing. Today, they may not

34:23 need you, but tomorrow may bring results

34:25 from the sharing that you did today.

34:29 He's literally laying down the oldest

34:32 parable in the Bible, right? The parable

34:35 of the sewer. Today they may not need

34:38 you, but tomorrow may bring results from

34:40 the sharing that you did today. Seed

34:44 time harvest. Yes, I love that. All

34:48 right, coach man. Man, taking people to

34:50 church in the chat, which I love, but I

34:53 don't want to offend anybody also, you

34:54 know. But yes, that's awesome. Awesome.

34:56 Awesome. And then he even did an income

34:58 breakdown. Talk about vision. I don't

35:00 know if y'all can see this. I've got it

35:01 on the screen. But he literally what I

35:04 call reduced it to the ridiculous for

35:07 his affirmations in terms of he would

35:09 say that he would just tell himself, I

35:11 just need to make sure that this income

35:15 that I want to earn in a year, which for

35:17 him, his goal was $2 million a year. He

35:21 said, I got to break it down to what

35:22 does that mean I'm earning a month and

35:24 then a week and then a day and then an

35:26 hour and then a minute and then a

35:28 second.

35:30 He reduced it to the ridiculous. Isn't

35:33 that what like every major super

35:35 achiever and winning team that you've

35:37 ever seen does? I mean, a football team

35:39 doesn't just wake up one day and say,

35:41 you know what, I think we'll just win

35:42 the Super Bowl. They have to reduce it

35:44 to the ridiculous. They have to start

35:46 with the Super Bowl and work backwards

35:48 to figure out, well, how many games do

35:50 we have to, you know, win here and then

35:52 how many here and then what kind of

35:54 players do we have to have in place

35:55 there? and what are they're constantly

35:57 adjusting, you know, it's not the it's

35:59 not the wind, right? It's the set of the

36:01 sail. So, they're constantly adjusting,

36:03 but they have a plan. They reduce it to

36:06 the ridiculous so that they know on day

36:08 one for that first practice, maybe that

36:09 first combine where they're headed.

36:12 They're headed to the Super Bowl. So,

36:14 yeah, Keith. Keith. Keith, my man. Of

36:17 course, he taught y'all that. He's

36:18 awesome. Yeah. Reduce it to the

36:20 ridiculous. Always. Always. All right.

36:23 And you know, Jimmy just said it in his

36:25 little meditation, serve others, guys.

36:28 There is science behind it. There is a

36:31 lot of evidence that one of the best

36:32 anti-anxiety medications available is

36:35 generosity. That's straight from this

36:38 gentleman who is a professor for

36:41 organizational psychology at the Wharton

36:43 School of Business. So he basically

36:46 teaches psychology of business and he's

36:49 teaching business people that the way

36:52 you're going to reduce your anxiety in

36:54 your business is to serve others. Have a

36:56 servant heart, right? So you can take

36:59 all the church out of it. It's just a

37:01 proven fact. And you know, I kind of had

37:04 to put this in action myself back in

37:06 2017. Um, and I know that's a crazy

37:10 picture over there on the right of that

37:11 dog, but that is my dog, Ranger. and he

37:15 had a tumor that was so bad in his

37:17 mandible. He was a seven-year-old German

37:19 Shepherd that he couldn't eat anymore.

37:22 So, we had to put down our dog ranger.

37:24 And then that top picture of uh my

37:27 nephew kind of hunched over a lady.

37:30 That's my halfsister and she passed away

37:33 from cancer that year. 25 years older

37:36 than me. She's my halfsister. But I lost

37:38 my dog, lost my sister. Sounds like a

37:40 bad country song. Um, and then tragedy

37:45 struck again. And this because this was

37:47 all going on July, August, September,

37:50 and in September in Houston, Texas of

37:52 2017, one of the biggest hurricanes

37:55 uh in terms of a rain maker came through

37:58 Houston, Hurricane Harvey, dumped, I

38:01 don't know, gallons and gallons and

38:03 gallons and gallons of water over our

38:05 over our city. And I was kind of sitting

38:08 on the couch cuz I had lost my dog, lost

38:10 my sister, but yet this was all God. Um,

38:15 somehow we didn't lose power at all. Um,

38:18 we didn't flood. And I'm watching all

38:21 the devastation and I'm looking at my my

38:23 chats for my local community that I'm

38:25 in, Friendswood Moms, and people are

38:28 flooding everywhere, needing help,

38:30 asking for assistance. And as fast

38:33 forward, I ended up talking to or

38:35 telling Fox News because a word got out

38:38 and it wasn't intentional. I'm not like,

38:40 "Hey, look at me." But I ended up on Fox

38:42 National News because somehow God chose

38:45 me. Uh cuz I guess he knew that I wasn't

38:48 just going to sit there. But I got off

38:49 my butt and I started helping. And the

38:52 best way I knew how to help was use my

38:53 social media. And I started sharing

38:56 lives of all the things that were going

38:58 on in my community, especially this

39:00 nursing home that was evacuated to our

39:02 local high school. And they were all

39:03 memory care patients. And I had gone up

39:05 there, which caused a doctor on my

39:07 current health and wellness company team

39:09 to show up and help. Next thing you

39:11 know, it just was a cascade of people

39:13 helping. And you know what? I didn't

39:16 have time to think about losing my

39:18 sister, losing my dog. I was in

39:21 superwoman mode trying to help others.

39:24 And really ultimately, you know what?

39:28 Guess who that helped the most? Me.

39:31 Serving other people kept me from being
